HANNES KLOSTERMANN
Hannes is an Underwater Photographer and Scuba Instructor with a particular passion for capturing images of sharks and other large pelagics, as well as actively supporting their conservation.
He began his underwater adventures in 2003 in a dark and very cold lake in Germany and since then, his travels have taken him to many of the world's most exiting diving destinations.
After having been a "holiday diver" for over a decade, Hannes eventually decided to devote more of his time to the underwater world by taking up teaching as well as a more serious approach to photography - all in order to share his love for this special habitat and inspire others to venture out into the big blue. An important aspect of this is his never-ending advocacy for sharks, who are among the most misunderstood creatures on our planet. Helping in changing the general public's perception of these beautiful animals has been one of his main goals.
