Born in Naples on June 21, 1961. For over twentyfive years he worked as a company member, director and sales manager of important companies plant in 2008 leaving his post of responsibility and, after a few years break, he decided to devote himself to the sea and underwater photography.
Diver for almost thirty years, instructor SSI and IANTD, from 2011 is the holder of two diving operating in the Gulf of Naples, Punta Campanella Diving in Massalubrense and SuBaia Diving in Baia.
In 2015 was a founding member of the IUPS, Italian Underwater Photography Society.
He began photographing in the mid-90s, in principle with the Nikonos III and V, then with Nikon camera in underwater housings until 2009 when he goes digital camera; currently it uses a Nikon D3x in custody Seacam.
The passion for underwater photography prompted him to develop personally and treat this specific activity in his diving that are becoming, in recent years, a reference point in the Mediterranean of the most important Italian and foreign photographers.
He is a firm believer of the beauty of the Mediterranean and the Gulf of Naples in particular, he is publisher of two Mimmo Roscigno photo books: "In to the mirror" in 2014 and "Baios" on submerged archaeological park of Baia in 2015.

Nasce a Napoli il 21 giugno 1961. Per oltre venticinque anni si è occupato di Impresa come socio, amministratore e responsabile commerciale di alcune importanti aziende impiantistiche lasciando nel 2008 ogni incarico di responsabilità e, dopo qualche hanno di pausa, decide di dedicarsi al mare e alla fotografia subacquea.
Sommozzatore da quasi trent’anni, istruttore SSI e IANTD, dal 2011 è titolare di due diving che operano nel golfo di Napoli, il Punta Campanella Diving di Massalubrense e il SuBaia Diving di Baia.

Comincia a fotografare a metà degli anni ’90, in principio con le Nikonos III e V, poi con reflex Nikon scafandrate fino al 2009 quando passa al digitale; attualmente utilizza una Nikon D3x in custodia Seacam.
La passione per la fotosub lo ha spinto a sviluppare e curare personalmente questa specifica attività nei suoi diving che sono diventanti, in questi anni, punto di riferimento nel mediterraneo dei più importanti fotografi italiani e stranieri.
