Antonio Cusano, born in Naples and lives for about 15 years in Teramo , establishes as a teenager a wonderful relationship with the sea, a relationship that is strengthened more and more and that determines almost automatically a push toward choices that will lead to an unbreakable bond and continuous with the underwater world. He received his first patent Instructor in 1978, he directed the center of the sea Poseidon, an efficient Diving in Baia (Naples), becomes Master Instructor and, since 1994, as a professional and recreational with thousands of dives and hundreds of students trained. The first pictures taken on film, arouse in him the excited state to share with others the wonders of the sea.
The passion for the sea led him increasingly to deepen the show that nature offers submerged. A few years ago, switched to digital, shooting with a DSLR in custody, fully fitted and equipped at all points, with which it shares almost all dives.
The seas of Malaysia, Papua, Galapagos, Bahamas, Maldives, Sudan and the Mediterranean, are some of the fascinating destinations and stimulants that have allowed us to establish first of all the subjects in his heart and then to the memory card.
Today, with more experience, constantly continues to dive and photograph it with the same passion and appreciate this wonderful opportunity that the sea has wanted to give him....
Antonio Cusano, nasce a Napoli e vive da circa 15 anni a Teramo, stabilisce già da adolescente uno stretto legame con il mare; un rapporto che si rafforza sempre di più e che determina quasi automaticamente una spinta verso scelte che lo porteranno ad un rapporto indissolubile e continuativo con il mondo sommerso. Consegue il 1° Brevetto Istruttore nel 1978, guida il CENTRO MARE POSEIDON, un efficiente Diving a Baia (Napoli), diventa Master Instructor ed in veste professionale e ricreativa, già nel 1996 conta migliaia di immersioni certificate e centinaia di allievi formati. Le prime foto, impressionate su pellicola, suscitano in lui la condizione entusiasmante di condividere con altri le meraviglie del mare.
La passione per il mare lo porta sempre più ad approfondire lo spettacolo che la natura sommersa offre. Da qualche anno è passato al digitale e fotografa con una reflex scafandrata, equipaggiata ed accessoriata di tutto punto, con la quale condivide quasi tutte le immersioni.
I mari della Malesia, Papua, Galapagos, Bahamas, Maldive, Sudan oltre che il Mediterraneo, sono alcune delle mete affascinanti e stimolanti che hanno permesso di fissare i soggetti inquadrati innanzi tutto nel suo cuore e poi anche sulla scheda di memoria.
Oggi, con accresciuta esperienza, continua costantemente ad immergersi ed a fotografare per immutata passione ed apprezzare questa magnifica opportunità che il mare ha voluto concedergli.
