Jorge Cervera Hauser
After studying media and communication in Mexico City, cinematography in Spain, and working in major advertising agencies and tv stations, he founded Calypso Media in 2009, a production company responsible for several tv commercials and marketing campaigns nation wide. In South Africa, he earned the title of Animal Planet's Filmmaker of the Year in 2007, after winning the tv series Unearthed broadcasted world wide.
In 2010 Jorge founded XOOC, a marine conservation society, and has been an active member at Pelagic Life since 2012, where he produced the documentary México Pelágico, and the Shark Diaries series, narrating Pelagic Life's unhooking of sharks in the Baja Peninsula.
