UWP: GARY SUN

Gary Sun Shao Wu is an underwater photographer from Mainland China. He is currently holding the position of Chairman of Guangdong Photographers Association Underwater Photography Committee, member of Photographic Society of America, council member of Guangdong Association of Young Photographers, and standing director of Guangdong River Ocean Ecological Environment Protection.

Gary has travelled around world to explore the various amazing diving sites ,he was moved by the Humpback Whale songs in Tonga, close encountered with the whale sharks in Ahe in Indonesia, free diving with the rays and sharks in Tahiti, amazed by the cenote dive in Mexico, kissed by a dolphin in Bahamas! He captured those precious moments and his work has been published by various magazines: Chinese Photographers, World of Photography, Traveler, ProDiver, PSA Magazines, etc. He has also been sharing his diving stories and environmental concepts through television and radio interviews.

Gary has won the Gold Prize and Excellence Prize for on the 7th Guangdong Youth Photography Art Exhibition, the Jury Prize and Selected Prize on 36th International Photography Salon, and Special Prize and Merit Prize on 1st PSA China Photography Salon Online Event.
