Suhodo..that's my name. I'm Indonesian, Was born in Surabaya, Indonesia, and Lived in Jakarta for the present. I am Dive Instructor, Instructor trainer, Dive trip organizer in One of Dive center in Jakarta, Indonesia with avid for underwater photography.
Started diving in 1980, and in 1992 I took an Instructor Course. Teaching make my diving spirit grew as far as the developed of our diver community, and it make me more intensive to organize dive trip. My desire to share our real stories about dive experienced, the beauty & unique of Underwater world is the reason why...I mostly brought my fifth lenses (UW Camera) when I dove. I Started shooting with an old model slide film UW camera NIKONOS III in 1985, then NIKONOS V in 1989 and NIKON SLR camera in 1994. In 2000 era...I 'm going digital compact since 2005 such as Canon - Ixus, Olympus, Canon Powershot G series with various wet lens especially for macro shot. Last 2 year, I currently used the NIKON DSLR D7000 in Nauticam housing with some of wide and fisheye lens, also macro lens. For the strobes, I currently used INON Z240, S2000, Sea&Sea YS 110a, YS 01, YS D1 + Sola 600.
Although take underwater pictures is just an hobby beside teaching dive, wish my spirit never cooled off..., happy to share :
