UWP: GORDEN KLISCH

Gorden Klisch (born in 1974 in Berlin/ Germany) was taught diving by his father at the age of ten. Since then the fascination for the underwater world never left him, so he followed his dream and after a vocational training as a carpenter, Gorden joined the German Army as a Pioneer Diver. There he got the training as a Commercial Diver. After four years of Army diving Gorden run his own business in Berlin as Event Outfitter. After he did his cross-over to be instructor for recreational diving, Gorden left to Egypt to work in the tourism industry.
As a passionate painter Gorden was looking for a possibility to record ideas and images during his excursions to the underwater world. He found a way through the underwater photography and realized quickly that underwater photography itself was a high art that drew his full attention…
Today he lives and works in Aqaba in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the Red Sea. Together with his partner Valerija he is managing a dive centre there.

Gorden works with a Nikon D300 in a Sea & Sea MDX D300 underwater housing and two Sea & Sea YS-250 flashlights.
