Amateur photographer and consultant in a professional services company. I practice photography in natural environment without the use of automation.
It has now been 11 years since I first take shots in underwater and in the land . I have practiced as digital. First I started with a Sony digital compact DSCP1 and box making only the close-up photography (portrait and macro) and then 2 years later, I went to the SLR with a Nikon D100 in a box and Sealux Nikon Speedlight SB80-DX. Since then, my hardware has evolved through the D200 and D300S. About diving, I practice for 20 years, having done all my training in the Atlantic around the Ile d'Oléron. This implies a predilection for water "fresh" and not necessarily of great clarity. I dive in both freshwater and in saltwater. Green or brown or some sea water points are places for me to discover. I spent the past 5 years was diving in ponds and rivers to follow the evolution of species from birth until the release of water through the larval stage.

Photographe amateur et professionnellement consultant dans une société de services informatiques dans le milieu de la mécanique, je ne pratique la photographie qu'en milieu naturel sans aucune utilisation d'automatisme.
Cela fait maintenant 11 ans que je prends des clichés d'abord sous-marin puis 2 ans plus tard terrestre. Je n'ai pratiqué que le numérique. J'ai d'abord commencé avec un compact numérique Sony DSCP1 et son caisson en ne faisant que de la photographie rapprochée (portrait et macro) puis 2 ans plus tard, je suis passé au Reflex avec un Nikon D100 dans un caisson Sealux et le flash Nikon SB80-DX. Depuis, mon matériel a évolué en passant par le D200 et le D300S. Concernant la plongée, je la pratique depuis 20 ans en ayant fait tout mon apprentissage dans l'Atlantique autour de l'Ile d'Oléron. Cela implique une certaine prédilection pour les eaux " fraiches " et pas forcement d'une grande limpidité. Je plonge aussi bien dans les eaux douces que dans les eaux salées. La couleur verte ou marron des mers ou de certains points d'eau, sont pour moi des lieus de découverte insoupçonné qui deviennent très accessibles en période calme comme peuvent l'être les mois estivaux. Je me consacre depuis 5ans a la plongée dans les mares et rivières pour suivre l'évolution des espèces de la naissance jusqu'à la sortie de l'eau en passant par l'état larvaire.
