Born in 1968 and fond of the underwater environment since childhood, Fabrice Boissier takes his first scuba course at 14 years old. In the following years, he will pass all the scuba-diving certificates and will start taking his first sub-marine shots with his Hanimex Amphibian camera in the water of the Mediterranean Sea and the Annecy Lake (France).
In 1990, he quits College in order to get his instructor diploma and starts working as a technical owner in the Bora-Bora scuba-diving school (French Polynesia).
Back to France, he becomes a travel agency handler specialized in scuba-diving and creates his first scuba-diving school in Lyon suburb (France). During this period, he travels a lot and brings back tones of interesting pictures that will illustrate commercial booklets and French newspapers articles.
Since 2004, he is chief editor of "Chercheurs d'eau", a free scuba-diving magazine. He also organizes scuba-diving trips, photo safari and supervises sub-marine picture courses.
Né en 1968 et passionné par le milieu aquatique depuis son enfance, Fabrice Boissier passe son premier niveau de plongée à l'âge de 14 ans. Il enchaîne ensuite tous les brevets de plongeur et réalise ses premières images sous-marines avec un appareil Hanimex Amphibian dans les eaux de la Méditerranée et du lac d'Annecy (France).
Il abandonne, en 1990 ses études à l'Université pour passer son monitorat de plongée et partir travailler comme responsable technique d'une école de plongée en Polynésie Française.
De retour en métropole, il devient responsable d'une agence de voyage spécialisée dans la plongée et ouvre son école de plongée à côté de Lyon (France). Durant cette période, il réalise de nombreux voyages et rapporte des clichés sous marins qui servent à illustrer des brochures publicitaires et des articles dans la presse française.
Depuis 2004, il est le rédacteur en chef du magazine gratuit de la plongée " Chercheurs d'eau " et il encadre des stages de photo sous-marine et organise des voyages et des safaris photo pour plongeurs.
