Sissel Nystad is born in Trondheim and lives in Fredrikstad, Norway with her family and all her animals.
She has always been creative, and has been drawing and painting since childhood.
When she was 8 years old she was given her first camera. She enjoyes colours, light and beauty, but loves to provoke to get reactions from peaple around her.
She has won multiole photo- and art competitions. In 2004 she had her first exibition in Galleri Stallen, an art galleri in Fredrikstads old town.
Sissel loves to photograph in all genres, from studio to under water. She also shoots people and animals on location, portraits and action.
